NE Region Meeting/Event
The
Deaf/Hard of hearing Consumer in Youngstown area gathered together on May 6th
hosted by Youngstown Community Centers for the Deaf (CCD) and Ohio Association
of the Deaf, Inc. The leadership workshop was sponsored by Ohio Rehabilitation
Service Commission (ORSC). The workshop presenter was Elizabeth "Libby" Pollard
from Pittsburgh, PA. The workshop topics were: to understand what leadership is
, to identify , practice, and improve leadership skills, increase understanding
roles and functions of leadership and to analyze different personality signs in
break-out groups.
