NEW TRAINING DATES for Nationwide Arena Volunteers

JANUARY 12TH and 19TH (both on Thursday)

These classes are scheduled from 6:00 to 10:00PM in the activity room at Nationwide Arena. You must be there by 6:00PM. After we start the class if you have not signed in you will be required to come to the next class. Only need to attend once per year.

Entrance - through ticket box offices on Southwest corner of the Arena, go through doors and go right to get through double doors, which Security will lead you to the activity room. However, they sometimes open the outside door to this room on South side of Arena, just look for door that is propped open.

Parking - you might check out West Lot Parking next to Nationwide Arena, which is usually $3 on non-event nights. The same is true for Front Street Garage (where we usually park during events for $3).

We are about halfway through in the season, 8 events upcoming in January, 4 events in February, 10 events in March, and several in April. We cover all Blue Jackets hockey and Destroyers arena football home games and also some concerts to be announced shortly. For schedule information, check www.nationwidearena.com.

Did you notice crazy weekend of Jan 27-29??? Any volunteers who work 2 of these 4 events during weekend will have a surprise reward, to be given at event or within 2 days from OAD.

BONUS - any volunteers working 4 events of any January events can get $10 gift card by coming to me with 4 parking receipts as reward for volunteering at NWA this month!!! We will test this idea to see if it is working....smiles

For some of you who are still waiting for old rewards from last year, we finally got enough tips earned to purchase gift cards and we will try to get them together and issued to you this month after 15th. If I know you plan to work any event on 16th or later, I can try to have it given to you. Smiles.
