The Center for Outreach Services at the Ohio School for the Deaf is
announcing our First Parent Summit for Families of Deaf and Hard of
Hearing Children.

We are looking for parent leaders and strong parent advocates to
provide us with feedback regarding the Center's services and programs,
along with feedback regarding all programs for families of deaf and
hard of hearing children throughout the state. We are looking for
parents/families with deaf or hard of hearing children between the ages
of 3 and 21. Once parents are identified as leaders, they will be
asked to complete an application to attend the summit. We will selecting 10
to 15 families to attend and there will be no cost to the parents
selected to attend this summit. All expenses will be paid by the
Center, including gas for travel expenses.

Attached you will find more information regarding the summit; including
a letter to you, the professional, and a letter to the parents, and the
application.

We are asking that you take a minute to identify the parent leaders in
your area and distribute the application to each of them. This is a
great opportunity for parents to be heard! Please encourage parents to
apply. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your time and help!
